I would not worry about it, and there is no need to contact them further concerning the email exchange. However-- if the reason that you need to contact them is to change the dates of your visa (especially your entry date), send them an email with the subject "Change of Dates to [[Type of Visa]][[Last Name, First Name]] [[Application # if you have one]]" or visit their office in person to discuss the status of your application.
