Cats

Bundaberg Central City Cats (BCCC) is a football club in the city of Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia. It is affiliated with Football Queensland and competes in the Wide Bay League, of which it is the most successful side having won the championship on seven occasions.

The club was founded in 2007 by local businessman and former player Graham Kemp to provide a pathway for senior footballers to continue their playing careers in the Wide Bay area. The team joined the Wide Bay League in 2009 and has since gone on to become a competitive force in the competition.

Bundaberg Central has achieved tremendous success in recent years, winning the Wide Bay Cup on six occasions from 2011 to 2021. The club was also the 2016 and 2018 Premiers of the Wide Bay League, and was a runner-up in 2017.

The team boasts a number of high-profile players, including former Socceroo and Dutch international striker Arnold Van den Berg, current Queensland U20 Goalkeeper of the Year Justin O’Neill, and former Brisbane Roar Youth player Dominic Bilic.

The team has strong links with local clubs, and regularly organises coaching and scouting development programs to benefit all levels of football in the area.
